Caleb gave me this card for Valentine's Day. I guess his love for me and the Saints is intertwined.

Cuteness
Last fall Luke wrote me some love notes.
He said I was as cute as a kitten.
Last week he whispered to me, "I'm sorry to tell you this Mom but Paws is cuter than you."

1st Baseball Practice
First baseball practice and what does Caleb come home with? Yes, a black eye.

I took this picture from the van so as not to embarrass him or anything. A few minutes later the ball bounced off of Caleb's glove and hit him in the eye.

The coach talked to him and got him ice and Caleb completed the practice. Aaron and I both were worried that Caleb would be upset and want to quit baseball. He was fine, but his eye was not.
1st day- it was swollen, like almost swollen shut.

Caleb was still excited about baseball and said everything was okay.

B & B
Boys & Baseball
We have been practicing in the back yard and at the park. The park makes it feel more like a baseball field.
Caleb was on the fence about playing. He has never played before on a team, but he loves playing in the backyard and can hit well. When we signed Luke up several of the coaches talked to Caleb and wanted him to sign up. Caleb thought about it and the next Saturday we signed him up too.
Caleb can hit the ball far and throw really good. We are working with him on catching.
